Fund Raiser
The fundraiser benefited the New Bedford Free Public Library.
Funds raised will buy books for the children's rooms.
We gathered 159 books from the book drive. Thank you to those who donated books.
While at the registration table, some people mentioned they had forgotten their books.
Please, drop them off at your local library if you are still interested in donating them.

This gift will be a long lasting one, and benefit a lot of people in the community,
including members of our class. We chose the children's room as the focus because
so many people named charities that help children, or they specifically asked the
fundraising efforts be used in some way to benefit children. Thank you all for your
input. A special thank you to Melissa MacLeod who came up with the idea of helping
the library in the first place!
